If a team turned the ball over 17 times in a game, any coach would probably feel at least a little bit displeasured by such a performance. In a second division game in Lithuania, a single player managed to do that just on his own. The 19-year-old ABRO-Universitetas point guard Airidas Kurauskas set a new league record in turnovers per game, turning the ball over 17 times in a blowout loss to Statyba (53-96) on the road in Vilnius.

Having fought hard for three quarters, Zalgiris fell apart in the last period in Palau Blaugrana, losing 80-94 (18-23, 25-19, 16-21, 21-31) to Barcelona on Thursday evening. It was the third loss in three games for the Lithuanian side in Group H of the Euroleague Top 16, while Barcelona remains undefeated with a clean 3-0 record. Having come short in Barcelona, Zalgiris stretched their winless road game streak in Top 16 to 19, as the last win came more than seven years ago when the club from Kaunas defeated Ulker Istanbul in 2004.
