
Ginevicius, who arrived at the club in the middle of the season, finished the game with a double-double of 20 points and 11 assists. The playmaker was 7 of 13 from the field, with 4 of 10 shots from beyond the arch and both free-throw attempts made. With 6 steals in his account, Ginevicius ended the game with a ranking of 36.
"Ginevicius played how I always want to see him playing. Not only did he score a lot of points, but controlled the team well. I have no complaints for Ginevicius, it's obvious that his game is only improving," said Lietuvos Rytas head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis.
Milko Bjelica had 24 points on 8 of 9 field goal shooting; Dejan Borovnjak collected 16 and 10 rebounds as Steponas Babrauskas added 15 for Lietuvos Rytas.
Alytus' Aurimas Adomaitis, with 12 boards, Andrius Aleksandrovas and Saulius Kazevicius all had 13 each as Paulius Kleiza and Vytautas Tatarunas scored 10 each.
Baskets from Milko Bjelica and Steponas Babrauskas ignited a 9:0 visitor run in the end of the first quarter, which took the score to 20:11. Alytus managed to get the score within one shot - 22:25, but Lietuvos Rytas answered back and increased the lead to 13 (48:35).
After the break Ginevicius joined Dejan Borovnjak and Bjelica's company to lead his team to another victory.
