Both of the new Lietuvos Rytas players, Jonas Valanciunas and Kenan Bajramovic, had a big contribution to Tuesday's Lithuanian League (LKL) 100:66 victory against visiting Techasas Panevezys in Vilnius.

Valanciunas stepped onto the court for the first time in the beginning of the second quarter. The center finished with 18 points on 8 of 11 field goals and 5 rebounds. The 17-year-old missed his first shot, but scored his scoring for Lietuvos Rytas already in the next possession. Valanciunas collected 12 points in the second quarter alone. Two of the most spectacular plays of the game were also delivered by Valanciunas. The youngster dunked the ball down with a foul after a nice spin and later went on to finish off an alley-oop pass from Bojan Popovic, who played his last game for Lietuvos Rytas.

The Serbian playmaker will move to Turkey and continue his career in Efes Pilsen. Popovic missed one long-range attempt and converted one of two free throws with limited court time. The player also grabbed 2 rebounds, turned the ball over and made an assist one time each.

Milko Bjelica scored 17 points and dished out 7 assists as Justas Sinica added 11.

The third quarter of the game belonged to another new arrival at the club, Bosnian forward Kenan Bajramovic, who scored 10 points during the 10 minutes that he spent on the court.

Techasas was led by Laimonas Lukosevicius with 18, Vaidotas Volkus collected 16 points  as Tomas Cerneckis and Vaidas Trepocka had 11 each. Ernestas Ezerskis ended up with 10 in his account.
