"He's a very interesting player, a real talent in the junior and youth national teams. Maybe, he signed the contract with Olympiacos too soon as he didn't get much playing time from the coaches," said Lietuvos Rytas' chairman Jonas Vainauskas. Milosevic played an average of 15 minutes in Euroleague this season scoring 3 points, dishing out 1,9 assists and grabbing 1,3 rebounds per game. The players started his professional career in 2003 in Iraklis Thesaloniki, played for Crvena Zvezda from 2005 to 2008 and signed a deal with Olympiacos the previous season.
Milosevic has been playing for Greece in International level and participated in the Men’s U-18 European Championships in 2004 and the Men’s U-20 Eurobasket two years later.
According to Vainauskas, most of the paperwork with the documents related to the player's transfer has been finished. Lietuvos Rytas and Maroussi Athens, where Milosevic has spent the first half of the season, have agreed on a buyout fee of 50,000 EUR, but still have to make arrangements on the time table of the payments and the players arrival date.
