Rudupis won the first game of the finals by ten points
The second tie of the match up will take place in Sweden. A winner will be decided by the point difference from both games, so Rudupis can allow a single-digit defeat to take place in the worst of circumstances.
Povilas Sakinis had a game-high 21 points as two veterans, Kestutis Sestokas and Gintautas Vileita, scored 12 a piece. Rudupis' bigman Giedrius Jankauskas was just shy of a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds as Gediminas Orelik added 9 points of his own.
The visitors from Sweden were led by George Gervin, who scored 18 and Kenny Grant with 14 while Joakim Kjellbom was the only domestic player in double-figures tallying 13.
Dolphins had closed the gap to 4 halfway through in the last period, but the hosts spurted 7:2 to solidify their advantage at 77:68. The Swedish team didn't succeed in closing the gap as Rudupis increased their lead by yet another point and earn a 10-point victory.
