Dainius Salenga still signed the protocol for the coach in game six of the Lithuanian League (LKL) finals, but was Zalgiris owner Vladimir Romanov gave the handles to the most experienced player in the club – Marcus Brown, who had the final say in all of the time outs and in the preparation before the game.

Zalgiris found it difficult to communicate and get a clear message across during game five in Vilnius with everyone having a go at basketball tactics. Romanov told Marcus Brown to take care of the situation.

“Marcus and Dainius had the final say and that helped a lot,” said Martynas Pocius. “It was a chaos during timeouts in the previous game, where as today everything was tidy.”

However, Dainius Salenga said that the control of the team was in Brown’s hands alone.
