On the road to the Men’s U-20 European Championship in Croatia this summer the Lithuanian youth team defeated Norway 62-52 in their first friendly game so far.

Darius Tarvydas led the Lithuanians with 16, Giedrius Staniulis scored 10 as Mantas Kadzevicius and Eimantas Bendzius finished the game with 8 and 7 respectively.

On day two of the friendly tournament in Poland the Lithuanian U-20 side cruised past Belgium U-20s 104-80 to make it two out of two in this tournament.

Tautvydas Slezas paced Lithuania with 20 points, Giedrius Staniulis added 16 while Adomas Drungilas and Gediminas Orelik had 14 each.

The third and final match of tournament that decided the winner was against the Polish U-20 National Team and the Lithuanians had to admit defeat as the game ended 86-94 in favour of the hosts.

Giedrius Staniulis scored 14 points and Tautvydas Slezas added 12. Gediminas Orelik netted 11 while Adomas Drungilas and Matas Sapiega finished the game with 10 points each.
