The strongest women's basketball club in Lithuania will move to Kaunas

Kaunas stepped to the forefront of women basketball and took over from Vilnius as Lithuanian women's basketball capital. The most successful side of the past years Vilnius TEO has been
disbanded as the telecommunication giants TEO LT have decided not to support
the team. The shares of the club were remised to a Kaunas-based company Vici
Sport, therefore the team will now play their games in the second largest city
in Lithuania.
The new team will keep the place in Euroleague, where TEO
had been in the Final Four twice. However, the organization will have a new
name.
