Rimas Kurtinaitis has a hard decision to make
The coach had denied any talks about his possible move to the club from Kaunas, but now admitted that his agent is in talks with the side. Kurtinaitis said that he had some offers from elsewhere, but they weren’t as attractive as the one from Zalgiris. “It might all be clear in a week’s time,” said Kurtinaitis.
It is reported that the coach had offers from Efes Pilsen Istanbul and several Spanish clubs, but an agreement was not reached with any of them. Kurtinaitis is also eagerly awaited in Latvia as VEF Riga have openly expressed their wish to have him at the top of the club.
According to kaunodiena.lt, Zalgiris is also in negotiations with Aco Perovic, who plans to come to Kaunas next week.
