The Lithuanian national continued its strong performance in the U18 European Championship defeating Poland 87-66 (27-12, 29-18, 18-19, 13-17).

The hosts started the game slowly allowing Poland to gain a small advantage at 7-6, however, this was the first and the last time Poland led.

Deividas Pukis woke the Lithuanians up with a three-pointer show with four long-range shots reaching the target. Pukis together with Dovydas Redikas, who also played well, gave Lithuanians a very solid 26 point lead at halftime.

Pukis lead Lithuania with 16 points, Jonas Valanciunas added a massive double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds while Dovydas Redikas added 15. Renaldas Simanavicius finished the game with 12 points and 5 assists while Zygimantas Skucas had 10 points.
