Zalgiris has made the decision to send most of their young players on loan. It has now been confirmed that Adas Juskevicius, Povilas Butkevicius, Sarunas Vasiliauskas, Mario Delas and Siim-Sander Vene will not be staying in the club and will be sent to other clubs.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas, aged 19, will be the youngest player in Zalgiris roster next season. It is still unclear whether the likes of Arturas Milaknis and Povilas Cukinas have guaranteed themselves a spot in the final roster.

“They’ve been invited to the training camp, but they haven’t secured a place in Zalgiris yet. The new coach will decide on that. We’ll make the moves based on his opinion,” said Zalgiris owner Vladimir Romanov.

Zalgiris will start the preparations for next season on August 16.
