Zalgiris' training camp resumes

Players, who have contracts with Zalgiris, but not a place in the main squad yet have gathered to another training camp after some three weeks of rest. After working throughtout the most of the summer, players were given some time off but have all made their way to Kaunas to continue the preparations for the next season.

Players such as Mirza Begic, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Arturas Milaknis are training to toghter with the youngsters, who are expected to join the main club in a season or two.

Among those, working in the training camp are the names of Povilas Butkevicius, Adas Juskevicius, Sarunas Vasiliauskas, Zygimantas Janavicius, Vaidas Cepukaitis, Vytenis Lipkevicius, Admoas Drungilas, Gediminas Zyle, Mindaugas Kupsas and some other younger players, who are soon to be joined by the U18 European Championship gold medal winner Vytenis Cizauskas.

The main training camp is going to start on August 16, but as not all players will be present due to international duties, the new coach Aco Perovic will pick up some players from this camp to work with the main team.
