Belarusian talent Vitali Liutych has linked his future with the third strongest Lithuanian club Siauliai. The 18-year-old player, who can play both as a shooting guard and a small forward has signed a long-term deal with the Lithuanian side and will arrive to the neighboring country from Vitalyur Minsk.
“Vitali is very well built, but it’s a bit early to talk about him – I need to assess what he can do on the court. I don’t have any complaints – he’s working hard and trying his best,” said the head coach of Siauliai and former Lithuanian national team coach Antanas Sireika.
Liutych averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds for the Belarusian national team in the B division of the U18 European Championship, where Belarus finished ninth.
