Neptunas Klaipeda have finally revealed their first foreigner for the next season. The sea-side club inked the American forward David McClure to a one-year deal with an option for an extra season.
The player comes to Klaipeda after a season with the Austin Toros where he averaged 2.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in the NBA D-League. McClure has already had a taste of Lithuanian basketball as he was teammates with the current Zalgiris guard Martynas Pocius in his time at Duke.
The new Neptunas signing is known for his defensive skills and was usually trusted to guard the most dangerous opponents by Mike Krzyzewski and averaged 1.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in the 2008-09 season whilst playing for Duke.
