Antanas Sireika will run for the Polish National Team Head coach position. The current Siauliai coach sent his application for the elections to the Polish Basketball Federation some time ago already.
Another Lithuanian coach Tomas Pacesas, according to Polish media, is not interested in this job. A definite bonus to the Asseco Prokom head coach would have been his experience working in Poland and playing there as a player too.
Other coaches, running for the position are Terry Layton, Dario Cornejo, Luca Banchi, Slobodan Subotic, Radoslaw Czerniak, Mariusz Karol and Tomasz Sluzalek.
