Darius Songaila will try his luck in his fifth NBA team
The Lithuanian is heading to Philadelphia together with the 22-year-old rookie Craig Brackins. The Hornets received the 24-year-old big man Jason Smith as well as the 29-year-old guard Willie Green in return.
Songaila’s career in the NBA started in 2003 when he signed with the Sacramento Kings. The power forward spent some of his career in the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
The 204 cm tall veteran averaged 7.2 points and 3.1 rebounds for the New Orleans Hornets last season.
