Former NCAA's Wake Forest captain David Weaver is currently in Lithuania, on a try out in Siauliai. There is a high possibility he will be staying in Siauliai for the rest of the season.
Weaver (23, 211) would add size that was the main issue for struggling Siauliai. They are 2-1 in Lithuanian league and 3-3 in Baltic league.
American averaged 2,6 points and 2,1 rebounds in a system that produced Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, Josh Howard and Darius Songaila.
Siauliai, a third placed team in Lithuania for the last decade, will open Eurocup season at the end of November.
