After the groups for EuroBasket 2011 were drawn just a couple of days ago, the organizers of the tournament have announced that tickets for the European championship will be on sale starting from March 1st.

Unlike in previous tournaments, the tickets for the Lithuanian games in Panevezys will cost from €25 to €60 and will be sold separately, from the other two group games that day. The tickets to the pair of the remaining games will cost from €20 to €50, depending on the seats.

In all other arenas day tickets will be sold and their prices will vary from €23 to €60 and will be available at  www.tiketa.lt.

Ticket prices later in the tournament:

  • Vilnius – second group stage day ticket: from €37 to €80;
  • Kaunas – quarterfinals day tickets: from €40 to €80,
  • Games for 5-8 places: from €20 to €35,
  • Semifinals: from €46 to €90,
  • Third-place game: from €49 to €95,
  • Final: from €55 to €101;

Each of the federations of the participating countries will get 100 tickets and it is expected that 60-70 percent of the spectators will be locals, while other tickets should be bought by foreigners.

there was no tickets in free sale,only lucky got ones,others went to federation,companies,vip persons and dealers which will sell you tickets with astromomous fee,e.g. ticket price match lithuania-spain 1st round panevezys city good places 600 euros,vip place 1000euros,regular about 300euros per ticket,that's what dealer on a phone told me.

do not buy from other people electronic tickets you will be fooled and you will be maybe 20th or 50th who will buy the same ticket/pass
