Ginevicius expexts to return to action next week
Lietuvos Rytas' veteran point guard Vidas Ginevicius has been out with an injured left wrist for a while now. Bojan Popovic has had to play for almost no rest in Euroleague games, as the third point guard of the team Evaldas Dainys is not quite up to Euroleague level.
"I will be back for next week, I want to play. Waiting has already become boring, but I still feel that the injured hand is a little bit weaker, because I was not able to do anything with it for three weeks. I hope to play next week", said Ginevicius.
The player is averaging 5,7 points and 2,3 assists in the Lithuanian League (LKL) games this season.
Ginevicius will still have to miss Saturday's clash with his former team Zalgiris in Vilnius.
