Martynas Gecevicius will most likely move abroad next season
Amongst the possible destinations for Gecevicius are the names of some strong European teams – Efes, Unics and Caja Laboral, Sportando.net reports.
It is speculated that Gecevicius is not in Lietuvos Rytas plans for next year’s roster as the club from Vilnius inked another Lithuania international Renaldas Seibutis to a three-year deal.
Gecevicius was one of Lietuvos Rytas leaders this season, averaging 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in Euroleague. The guard’s statistics in the Lithuanian League (LKL) were similar – an average of 11.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
