The medals for EuroBasket 2011 will be unique

The idea and design of the medals are totally new, unique and has never been tried before. The medals are meant to symbolize a game-winning shot and emotions associated with it. The amber ball is a symbol of Lithuania’s unique love for basketball.
In addition to revealing the medals, the English version of the tournament’s song was presented to the public ear, too. The song is performed by a trio of Lithuanian singers, one of which Marijonas Mikutavicius is the author of the song as well.
