Arturas Jomantas has played almost 300 games in a Lietuvos Rytas jersey
Jomantas has been representing Lietuvos Rytas for five years already and the list of titles that the player has won whilst playing in the Lithuanian capital include the Eurocup, two Lithuanian championships, two Baltic league trophies and two Lithuanian cups. All together, the player has played almost 300 games in a Lietuvos Rytas jersey.
“We need hard-nosed players, who go to fight on the court and can play tough defense,” the club’s new coach Aleksandar Dzikic explained the reason for extending the player, who had a very poor year, averaging only 5.3 points per game in the Lithuanian league and collecting a 2.4 point average in the Euroleague.
