Zalgiris
have signed another young Lithuanian talent Vytas Sulskis, who spent the last
four years playing for Youngstown State Penguins in the NCAA. However, the
23-year-old player will not move to Kaunas straightaway and will be sent out on
loan for the upcoming season.
The most
likely destination for Sulskis is Prienai, where he could help the local side
Rudupis in the first season in Eurocup.
“I had some
offers to go to Spain, but wanted to stay at home for at least a year,” the
player wrote in his Twitter account.
The player
was one of the most important players for Youngstown State last year, averaging
13.1 points, 5.2 points and 2.0 assists per game.
