Lietuvos
Rytas allowed Sakalai to score just 44 points and easily won their second
Lithuanian league game this season.

participants beat their rivals 74-44 in a derby of Vilnius. It was the second
loss for Sakalai in two days as they were easily picked apart by Zalgiris
Kaunas on Thursday.
Renaldas
Seibutis was the player to stand out in the first half as he scored 13 points
in the first 20 minutes to lead Lietuvos
Rytas to a 38-28 halftime lead.
Lietuvos
Rytas’ defence in the second half was insuperable as Sakalai managed to score
only 16 points in the second half of the game and lost by a total of 30 points.
Seibutis
led all scorers with 15 points in 18 minutes. Steponas Babrauskas had 14
points, while Predrag Samardziski and Vilmantas Dilys both chipped in with 8

injured and Valanciunas has been allowed to have a week’s rest after the busy
summer with Lithuanian national teams.
