An unsuccessful fourth quarter prevented
Rudupis from putting up a fight against CEZ Nymburk in a Eurocup game in Kaunas
on Tuesday evening, as the Lithuanian side lost 79-91 (15-24, 29-28, 19-16,
16-23).
Dainius Salenga scored a two-pointer which
brought Rudupis within three points in the final quarter, but it was all
downhill from then on for the Prienai side, as the visitors from Czech Republic
went on an 18-0 run to decide the outcome of the game.
Petr Benda led Nymburk with 22 points, Tre Simmons
scored 18 and LaMayne Wilson added 13 points in addition to nine rebounds.
Adrian Abrams and Pavel Pumprla both had 12 points for the visitors.
For Rudupis, Edgaras Zelionis had 18 points,
Adas Juskevicius chipped in with 15, adding six assists, while Gediminas
Orelikas and Dainius Salenga finished with 11 points each.
