Rudupis Prienai managed to stop CEZ Nymburk on the road 83-80 (18-22, 23-13, 25-24, 17-21), handing the Czech hosts their first loss in this year's Eurocup season, as the Lithuanians moved to a 2-2 record.
Finishing the first two quarters with a six point lead allowed Rudupis to maintain an edge throughout the whole second half, leading to a tough win against the Czechs.
Despite the fact that CEZ were able to close the gap to only two points in the fourth quarter, Rudupis maintained the lead and didn't let the victory slip out of their hands.
For Rudupis, Gintaras Kadziulis scored 19 points and grabbed four boards, Arminas Urbutis had 15 points, while Dainius Salenga finished the game with 14.
Petr Benda led the hosts with 24 points, Adrian Adams added 17 and Drew Naymick had 14 points.
