
Lietuvos Rytas continued the so-far successful Eurocup campaign by stomping all over the visiting Le Mans Sarthe Basket, taking an easy 87-49 (26-10, 23-11, 19-10, 19-18) victory over the French side in Vilnius after defeating them last week on the road.

Lietuvos Rytas to move to a 4-0 record in the competition and fortify their
place as Group F leaders, while Le Mans are still winless.
Lietuvos Rytas got off to a quick start, by
launching an 8-0 run straight after the tip-off, which set the mood for the
rest of the game.
The Lithuanian side was tearing up the visitors
in every way, possible steadily increasing the lead, which reached 39 points in
the fourth period.
Renaldas Seibutis and Predrag Samardzisi shared
a team-high 14 points in a balanced scoring effort from the whole team.
Jonas Valanciunas finished the game with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, Arturas Jomantas chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds, while Tyrese Rice scored 10 points.
For Sarthe Basket, former Lietuvos Rytas player
Joao Paulo Batista was the only player in double-digits with 10 points, Taylor
Rochestie scored seven, while Travon Bryant, Max Kouguere and Alex Acker all
finished with six each.
It was a good day for the other Lithuanian team in Eurocup, Rudupis, who claimed their second victory in the competition against Nymburk CEZ.
