Lietuvos Rytas relied mostly on its substitutes, as Bojan Popovic did not step on the court and was given a rest. Aron Baynes, Milko Bjelica and Arturas Jomantas also played very sporadicaly. Donatas Zavackas is out with a foot injury and the coach Kurtinaitis was saving him for Euroleague action.

Dejan Borovnjak and Justas Sinica led the visitors to a 12 point advantage after the first quarter - 28:16.

Lukas Brazdauskis hit a couple of shots from further out in a row and the Lietuvos Rytas were already ahead by 19. Techasas wasn't to give up that easily and reduced the deficit to single digits after a 10:0 run - 31:40.

The club from Vilnius came out of the break more concentrated and took the advantage to a safer distance. However, Techasas mounted yet another comeback, nailing to triples and later adding two from closer in to trail only by 10 - 61:71.

The final quarter was a different story, as Techasas' leaders fouled out and Lietuvos Rytas cruised to a well-earned victory.
