Kedainiai Triobet and Rudupis joined Zalgiris in the Lithuanian Cup Final Four as the two teams won the second leg games of the quarter-final stage.

The losing teams in the quarter-final, Siauliai and Pieno Zvaigzdes, will fight for the last place in the Final Four.

Rudupis lost the first leg game by 2 points, but recovered at home and beat Pieno Zvaigzdes 64-50 on Wednesday. The 8-0 run in the beginning of the last quarter was the key moment of the game.

Gintaras Kadziulis scored 22 points for the winners who will play in Final Four for the second consecutive year. Simas Buterlevicius finished the game with 14 points while Povilas Butkevicius had 10 points. Trevon Hughes led Pieno Zvaigzdes with 12 points.

Kedainiai Triobet had to play an overtime to return to Final Four after a one year break. Kedainiai Triobet lost to Siauliai 86-92 on Tuesday, but advanced to the Final Four, as they had an 8-point advantage after winning at home.

Siauliai had an 8 point lead after 40 minutes, thanks to Arvydas Siksnius' last seconds shot which took the teams to the overtime. However, Siauliai did not score on their last possession in extra-time and Kedainiai Triobet ended the game as the winners.

David McClure led the hosts with 29 points and 12 rebounds, Vytautas Sulskis ended the game with 16 points. Rashaun Broadus and Edvinas Ruzgas scored 27 and 20 points for Siauliai respectively.

The last participant of the Final Four will be known after Siauliai and Pieno Zvaigzdes will meet in Radviliskis on 12 Ferbuary. The winner will replace Lietuvos Rytas which pulled out of the tournament.

Zalgiris and Lietuvos Rytas had wild cards to the Final Four, but the Vilnius side  decided not to participate in the Lithuanian Cup, claiming that the Federation broke an agreement with Lietuvos Rytas TV regarding the broadcast rights of the tournament’s Final Four.
