
Lietuvos Rytas strengthened its position in the VTB League standings, easing past Enisey 101-62 (27-16, 23-16, 19-12, 22-18) behind a dominating performance from Jonas Valanciunas in Vilnius on Saturday.
Valanciunas scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and added two blocked shots in for the home team, as Lietuvos Rytas improved to a 6-5 record and moved up to the third place in Group B, while Enisey, with a 3-7 record, are eighth.
Renaldas Seibutis finished the game with 15 points and five rebounds for Lietuvos Rytas, Tyrese Rice had 14 points, while Steponas Babrauskas and Predrag Samardziski both chipped in with 10 points each.
Viacheslav Zaitsev and Sergey Toporov led the visiting Enisey with nine points each, as Lonny Baxter contributed with eight points for the Russian side.
