Jonas Valanciunas was at the center of attention in the Lithuanian League (LKL) All-Star Game, not only leading the Lithuanians to a 115-98 (34-33, 21-25, 28-19, 32-21) victory over the Foreigner team, but also creating a great atmosphere by his all-around entertaining performance.

The 19-year-old youngster scored 25 points, but today was a real case of a box-score not telling the true story. Valanciunas spiced up his performance by dressing up as an old man with a cane, interrupting the game by carrying a banner onto the court encouraging his teammate Renaldas Seibutis.
It wasn’t the end of the show, as the player started the second half of the game dressed up as a referee, wearing sizably too short pants and slippers, while the referee stepped on the court wearing Valanciunas’ jersey.
The center was enjoying the power of the whistle, calling a non-existent travel on Tyrese Rice and then a technical foul on the referee that replaced Valanciunas on the court.
Mantas Kalnietis also played a big role in making the show worthwhile, recording some impressive dunks himself and dishing out impressive alley-oop assists to his teammates.
Jonas Valaciunas was chosen to be the overall Most Impressive Player in the game, while Sonny Weems received a fridge as a prize for being the best player in the losing side.
In the other events of the day, Sonny Weems secured the LKL Dunking Crown by completing a powerful free-throw line dunk. The winner was never in doubt, as Weems was by far superior to any other contestants, including the co-finalist Raimundas Danys.
Zygimantas Sestokas became the best sharpshooter in the league after exploding for 24 points in the three-point shoot-out final against Aleksandar Rasic, who only collected 17.
