Rytas will be going to the Eurocup Final Four in Moscow even despite losing the
second leg of the quarterfinal tie against Donetsk 78-80 (28-17, 13-17, 13-13, 24-33). The 11-point advantage from the
first game between the sides was enough for the Lithuanians to secure passage
to the next round.
Jonas
Valanciunas led the Vilnius team with 14 points, making all six field goal
attempts and adding 7 rebounds. American point guard Tyrese Rice also had 14
points, 10 of which came from the free-throw line, while Arturas Jomantas
scored 12 points.
For
Donetsk, Ramel Curry had 26 points, Vule Avdalovic scored 14 points, while
Viacheslav Kravtsov chipped in with 12 points and Vojdan Stojanovski ended the
game with 11.
