Mindaugas Kupsas will try his luck in the 2012 NBA Draft. According to DraftExpress, the 20-year-old Lithuanian big man has officially made himself eligible for next year’s draft.
The player averaged only 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in the U20 European Championship last year in an unsuccessful championship in Bilbao, where Lithuania finished 13th and barely avoided relegation.
Kupsas is currently representing Baltai, which are fighting for a playoff spot in the Lithuanian League (LKL), averaging 8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
