Delininkaitis was averaging 16.3 points per game against Lietuvos Rytas in the Finals and ended up with the MVP trophy over the likes of Mantas Kalnietis and Marko Popovic, who had stellar performances as well.
“It’s nice to be named the MVP and add another trophy to the collection. In the end of the season, Sonny Weems got an injury, DeJuan Collins left the team, so I got more playing time and I felt more trust from the coach,” said Delininkaitis.
Individual awards were given out to leaders of statistical categories, while Renaldas Seibutis was presented with the Fair Play award, decided by the referee votes.
Virginijus Seskus, the coach of Rudupis, who repeated the third-place finish from last year, was named Coach of the Year by a journalist vote.
