In a press conference on Tuesday, Kestutis Kemzura
announced the 19-man shortlist for the Lithuanian national team. The list will
include Sarunas Jasikevicius, who decided to give a last crack at the Olympic
Games.
It would be the third Olympics in a row for Saras, if
Lithuania were to get past the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Venezuela. However, there was some bad news for coach
Kemzura too.
It appears that Donatas Motiejunas will not be able to
help the team due to contract issues with the Houston Rockets, as he will only
be able to sign a contract from July 1.
