Being the President of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF) isn’t all about hard work and wearing a tie, as Arvydas Sabonis got to enjoy the fun part of his job, firing away a machine gun in the Rukla Military Base.
Part of an official meeting with the Minister
of Defense to announce to partnership between the LKF and the Lithuanian Army
to encourage patriotism and physical activities, Sabonis viewed the military equipment
exhibition, visited the soldiers and had a chance to try out the weapons
himself.
