Last season, Nemanja Nedovic was one step away from joining Lietuvos Rytas, but the deal didn’t go through with Crvena Zvezda deciding to keep the 21-year-old Serbian guard until the end of the season.
According to Novosti.rs, now the talks of Nedovic coming to Lietuvos Rytas have resurfaced once again, with news of the Lithuanian club being granted a spot in next year’s Euroleague.
Despite having a contract with Crvena Zvezda for another year, it is highly likely that the buy-out clause in Nedovic’s contract will be activated.
According to LithuaniaBasketball.com sources, the talks of the deal have re-emerged for quite some time, but have been successfully been kept under the radar up to this point.
Nedovic was averaging 6.7 points and 1.5 assists for Crvena Zvezda in the Adriatic Leage, while scoring 5.9 points and dishing out 1.2 assists per game in the Serbian League.
