Ramunas Butautas, who was recently signed by Zalgiris, has already managed to become a source of happiness for the clubs players. Martynas Pocius is especially sweetened.
"When people ask me what did Santa bring me for Christmas this year, I say - a new coach", Pocius wrote in his twitter profile.
The ex-coach for Zalgiris Gintaras Krapikas resigned on December 18. Ramunas Butautas was announced as the replacement on December 24.
Butautas started working with his new team on Monday. Marcus Brown and Travis Watson joined the team practice on Tuesday, just after coming back from holidays.
Zalgiris will meet Sakalai in a Lithuanian League (LKL) game, which will mark the debut of the new coach on Wednesday.
