
With the summer market in full swing, there are still plenty of Lithuanian names on the free agent list, worth mentioning. The latest big fish to find a team was Darius Songaila, who agreed to a deal with BC Donetsk.

Even though the summer is almost over the Most Valuable Player of the 2011/12 LKL Finals is still without a club. Earlier this summer, Zalgiris used its option to terminate the contract with the player, who would have got €300,000 a year and offered him a new deal worth half of the money. Delininkaitis was not happy with the offer, so he is now looking for offers from abroad.
Stats in Italian Lega Due: 11.7 pts., 4.3 reb.
Lukauskis is still one of the most universal small forwards in Lithuanian. The season in Lega Due was pretty good, but most teams are afraid of the big price of the veteran.
Martynas spent his off-season in Klaipeda practising with Neptunas Klaipeda, but he is not going to be playing there next season. With Robertas Javtokas out for 4-6 months, some rumours are linking the player to Zalgiris Kaunas as a short-term replacement.
Stats in LKL: 12.1 pts., 4.9 reb.
Last season’s Baltic Basketball League’s MVP is now practising with the Ukrainian side Dnepro Dnepropetrovsk, but he will not stay there for the whole season. The forward wants to join a team playing in Eurocup.
Stats in PLK: 3.5 pts., 2.3 reb.
The center has an option to come back to Sopot, but the Polish team still hasn’t paid him the last year’s salary. Another possible destination is Kryvbasbasket Kryvy Rih, with former Trefl coach Karlis Muznieks.
Stats in BBL: 6.7 pts., 2.9 reb.
The big man is currently training with Cantu and trying to prove his is worthy of a place in the Italian top flight.
Stats in BBL: 9.9 pts., 3 reb.
The wing player is preparing for the season with Azovmash Mariupol and is looking for a better team at the same time. With a solid season in Germany under his belt, the only thing keeping him from finding a new club is his price.
Stats in Ukraine: 8.4 pts., 2 ast.
Neptunas Klaipeda had show interest in the guard, but decided to stop pursuing the player due to a high salary. Eitutavicius had an offer from Dnepro Dnepropetrovsk, but declined.
Stats in PLK: 7.1 pts., 1.5 ast., 1.3 reb.
The point guard is working out with Neptunas Klaipeda, but it is still unclear whether he will return to Lithuania after eight years playing abroad. After leaving Zalgiris in 2004, Gustas has played in Russia, Latvia, Greece and Poland.
Stats in Serie A: 1.9 pts., 2.1 reb.
The big man is on a try-out with Trenkwalder Raggio Emilia and is hoping to make the team and stay in the Italian Serie A.
Stats in Belarus: 10.6 pts., 3.6 reb., 2 ast.
The 27-year-old forward is working out with Cimberio Varase, while Odirne Olin is a back-up option. Rudupis Prienai is also interested in bringing the player back to Lithuania.
