Just before the New Year, Lietuvos Rytas announced splitting up with Evaldas Dainys. The contract was terminated on a mutual agreement on Wednesday.
The 27 year old point guard arrived in Vilnius from Neptunas Klaipeda in the middle of last season, as Branko Milisavljevic moved to Spain on a transfer.
Throughout his career Dainys has played for Silute, Central Florida college, Neptunas and Lietuvos Rytas. The club from Vilnius is not planning to acquire anyone in place of the leaving player.
