Yes, it was the way you described it. Only Zalgiris can lose a game like this... By the way, thanks for the comment, I think it\'s something we lack more here. Would be nice to get a small discussion going after news/game reports... :)

Mad Vlad has been known for some silly things, but hardly anything can beat therapist Rima with magic sticks (http://bit.ly/l79POD) and Pyjama Man (http://bit.ly/jKd6FV) - another alternative therapist. That's all in relation to the 'Pocius story.' Sounds just outright stupid, doesn't it? I mean, Vlad is Vlad, but didn't know he was that crazy...

Yeah... Well, at least we'll likely see quite a few games in Vilnius when the actual tournament comes. About Georgia... I guess they just want to finish their preparation period with a win. That's what I see from this...

It appears, that the scheduled recover time might take less than 9-12 months as had been reported earlier. I have info that all it could be is half-a-year, which could still allow Kleiza to participate in EuroBasket 2011. However, check out the piece at www.TalkBasket.net, which just proves that things are even more more complicated... Here's the full link: http://www.talkbasket.net/news/the-truth...

Strange addition... I don't think that Zalgiris needed a another big man, as they've got plenty on the bench and for example Omar Samhan isn't getting minutes whatsoever... Look for further moves in Kaunas.

BalatotoAfter this tournament, I think that guys like Jasikevicius, Kaukenas, Siskauskas and Ilgauskas of course definitely belong to the past of Lithuanian team. The team for next year will be almost unchanged, except the expected come back of Lavrinovic brothers or Petravicius.
I'd rather see Motiejūnas and Valančūnas in place of the two Lavrinovic brothers or, if looking at this year's squad, Andriuškevičius and Klimavičius.
Farrel from AmericaI just wanted to say that Lithuanian basketball (both the on-court play and devoted fans) embodies the best the sport has to offer. The joy, enthusiasm and quality you bring to every contest is a delight to watch. I will watch EuroBasket 2011 and be pulling for my new co-favorite team - Team Lithuania :)
Happy to hear so! I think you're not the only new Lietuva supporter after this WC - the guys played some amazing basketball!
